Commitment to Trans Justice

Trans individuals are often forced to either pay unreasonable amounts for gender affirming healthcare or forgo care all together due to the gross failure of insurance companies to recognize gender affirming care as “medically necessary”.

At Brain Life Connection, we believe that gender affirming voice and communication care should be as accessible as any healthcare. To do our part to ensure access to care for transgender individuals, BLC provides gender affirming voice care at a cost comparable to the cost of a traditional co-pay.

Cost is $0 for an initial intake session and $20 for each subsequent follow up.

The frequency of visits is dependent on YOUR need and ability. This means you can see your therapist 2x/week or 1x/month or even for sporadic consults, depending on your means, your schedule, and your goals. Sessions can be completed virtually, in your home, or in a safe space of your choosing.

All profits from sessions for gender affirming therapies will be donated to Trans Voice Initiative, an organization committed to supporting training gender diverse speech pathologists in leadership within the field of speech language pathology.
